I need to start listening to the radio more. I had no idea that it was still a thing that people used to find new music. There are just so many toys and apps that help me discover new music that I never thought to turn back time and use what I have right in front of me.
I was reading an article on Consequence of Sound that talked about music discovery and it shows that 35% of all music discovery is still done on AM/FM radio. They are surveying people that define themselves as "music listeners" over the age of 12 too so this isn't just old people.
It does mention that the biggest source that people use to stay "up to date" with music is YouTube so the internet isn't so bad after all.
I'm still going to give the 'ol FM dial a browse.
